Adai

Ingredients:
Urad dal - 1cup
channa dal - 1cup
Arhar dal - 1cup
Fresh coconut (grated) - 1/2cup
Onion - 1(chopped)
green chillies- 4-5 chopped
salt to taste.

Method:

  • soak dals and rice for 3-4 hours
  • then grind to a coarse paste and add salt.
  • keepit aside for 2-3 hours for fermentation.
  • add coconut, onion, chillies to the batter and mix well.
  • Heat a nonstick tawa.
  • put 3 large spoonfuls of batter and make a thick round.
  • cook till it becomes brown on both sides.
  • Serve with coconut chutney.
