Ingredients:
Channa dal - 1 cup
Pumpkin - small piece
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
onion - 1 (chopped)
green chillies - 3 (chopped)
garam masala - 1tsp
salt to taste
chilli powder - itsp
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
coriander and cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Oil - 1tbsp
cumin seeds - 1tsp
curry leaves
Method:
Channa dal - 1 cup

Method:
- Soak channa dal for one hour
- Peel and cut pumpkin into medium pieces
- Heat oil in pressure cooker add cumin seeds and curry leaves
- Add onions, green chillies, pumpkin pieces, ginger and garlic paste, mix and cook in slow flame for 5 minutes.
- Add channa dal and 1/2- 1 glass water and keep the lid
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles
- Remove the lid add remaining ingredients and cook in slow flame till oil floats on curry
- Garnish with coriander leaves
- Serve with rice or roti
