Ingredients:
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Channa dal - 1/2 cup
onion - 1
green chillies - 3
tomatoes - 4
garlic cloves - 10
curry leaves
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
salt to taste
red chilli powder - 1tsp
coriander and cumin seeds powder - 1tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chiilies - 2
Method:
- Soak and cook all dals in pressure cooker till soft.
- Heat oil in kadai add garlic pieces, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, reddy chillies and curry leaves, fry till mustard seeds crackle
- Add onions, green chillies, tomatoes, cook till oil floats
- Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric, coriander & cumin powder and cooked dal
- Add some water and cook till the curry thickens.
- Serve with rice or roti
