Ingredients:
Lady Fingers: 250 gms Onions - 2 (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (chopped)
Tomatoes - 2 (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Coriander and cumin powder - 1 tbsp
Oil -2 tbsp
Red chill powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves
Method:
- Trim the edges of lady fingers and cut into 1" pieces
- Heat Oil in kadai, add cumin seeds and curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion,chillies, tomatoes and stir fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add chopped bhendi and other spices and mix well.
- Cook in low flame for 7-8 minutes by covering lid and stir gently.
- Add 1 cup of water and cook till the gravy thickens
- Serve with rice or roti
