Ingredients:
Chikkudu kayalu- 250 gms
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves
Red chillies - 3-4
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Garlic cloves -5-6
Oil - 1tbsp
Method:
Chikkudu kayalu- 250 gms
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Channa dal - 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp

Red chillies - 3-4
Salt to taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp

Oil - 1tbsp
Method:
- Thread and cut into 1" pieces of chikkudu kayalu and boil them in salted water.
- Drain the water and keep aside the pieces.
- Dry roast red chillies and grind with garlic and salt to make powder.
- Heat oil in pan, add urad dal, channa dal, mustard, cumin and curry leaves and fry for 1 minute.
- Add boiled pieces and spices and mix well.
- Dry fry for 7-8 minutes
- Serve with rice.
