Ingredients:
Moong dal - 1 cup
Drumsticks - 2
Tomatoes - 4
Onion - 1
Green Chilli - 2 - 3
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp'
Coriander leaves
For talimpu:
Oil - 2 tsps; Dry red chilli - 1. Fenugreek seeds, Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds - 1 tsp; Garlic cloves - 4; Curry leaves
Method:
Moong dal - 1 cup

For talimpu:
Oil - 2 tsps; Dry red chilli - 1. Fenugreek seeds, Cumin seeds, Mustard seeds - 1 tsp; Garlic cloves - 4; Curry leaves
Method:
- Chop onions, green chillies and tomatoes into small pieces.
- Cut drumstick into 1" pieces.
- Take pressure cooker, put soaked moongdal, drumstick pieces, tomato, onion pieces, turmeric and add sufficient water. Close the lid and cook up to 2-3 whistles or till dal becomes soft.
- Open the lid then add salt and red chilli powder, cook another 3-4 minutes or until it becomes little thick.
- Heat oil in kadai, add all talimpu ingredients and fry till mustard crackles. Pour this talimpu on cooked dal.
- Lastly add chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
