Ingredients:
Whole moong - 2 cups
Green Chillies - 4
Salt to taste
Ginger - small piece
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Oil/ butter for frying pesarattu
Filling:
Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Carrot (optional) -1 (grated)
Method:
Whole moong - 2 cups

Onions - 1 (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)

Method:
- Soak moong dal overnight and wash well.
- Grind moong dal, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt with sufficient water. The batter must be in little thick consistency.
- Mix all the filling ingredients.
- Heat the dosa pan, grease with oil and pour one ladle full of batter and spread it thinly in round shape.
- Sprinkle onion mixture and cook one side in golden brown colour. Fold into half and serve hot with ginger chutney or coconut chutney.
