Potato and Green Pea Soup

Ingredients:
Fresh green peas - 2 cups
Potatoes - 300 gms
Water - 1/2 litre
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Mint leaves - few
Milk - 250 ml
Salt and pepper to taste

Method:
  • Put peas, diced potatoes, water, salt and pepper, sugar and ,mint in saucepan and simmer gently for about 45 minutes.
  • Discard the mint.Strain the mixture through sieve.
  • Reheat with milk.
  • Serve.
