Pitla

Ingredients:
Besan - 1 cup
Onions - 2
Green chillies - 2
Amchur power - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt to taste 
Curry leaves -  few
Oil - 2 tbsp
Water - 3-4 cups

Method:

  • Mix besan,turmeric, water and salt to make a thin mixture.
  • Heat oil and add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Fry till mustard crackles.
  • Add chopped onions and green chillies and fry.
  • Add besan mixture and amchoor powder.
  • Keep stirring and cook till the water absorbs.
  • Serve hot with rice.
