Tomato onion chutney


Ingredients
Tomatoes -  5 to 6 no.'s
onion - 1
green chillies - 6
Tamarind - small lump
Oil - 1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
jeera  - 1 tsp
garlic cloves - 4 
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste


Method:

  • Cut onion and tomatoes into small pieces. 
  • Heat the oil and add all the ingredients  except jeera and garlic.
  • Cook till the tomatoes soften and cool it. 
  • Grind the mixture with jeera and garlic into chutney. 
  • This chutney taste well with Idli, Dosa
