Ingredients:
Capsicum - 250 gms
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Coconut - 1 tbsp (grated)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Channa dal - 1 tsp
Cumin & Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Method:
Capsicum - 250 gms
Moong dal - 1/2 cup

Channa dal - 1 tsp
Cumin & Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves - few
- Chop onions and capsicum
- Soak moong dal for 30 minutes, Drain the water.
- Heat oil in kadai, add channa dal, cumin and mustard seeds, curry leaves. Fry till mustard crackles.
- Add chopped onion, ginger garlic paste. Saute for 1 minute.
- Add capsicum and moong dal and cook in low flame for 5 minutes.
- Add salt and turmeric and mix well.
- Cook till almost capsicum is tender then add chilli powder and coconut.
- Fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve with rice or roti.
