RUM DOUGHNUTS

Ingredients:
Flour - 180 gms
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Dash of salt
Eggs - 2
Sugar - 90 gms
Rum - 1/2 cup
Castor sugar - 1 cup

Method:

  • Sieve the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Cream the eggs and sugar.
  • Mix all the ingredients into a smooth dough except castor sugar.
  • Roll out and cut in the shape of doughnut rings.
  • Arrange them on a baking tray and bake for 35 minutes.
  • Remove while still hot. Roll each in castor sugar before serving. If you want to preserve them, let them cool before you dust them with castor sugar.
